Cote d’Or Footprints luxury, self-catering chalets are as close to the ocean as you can get! You are cordially invited to join us for a luxurious, relaxing stay in an azure and gold paradise and put your toes in the sand!
Cote d’Or Footprints is a family-run self-catering establishment offering ten beachfront chalets reflecting traditional colonial architecture, each with views of the beach and ocean just a few steps away.
Cote d’Or Footprints is about 20 minutes from the airport of Praslin and 10 minutes from Baie Ste Anne Jetty where you can take the ferry to Mahé or La Digue or a boat trip to one of the neighbouring islands.
Please note: Cote d’Or Footprints has a minimum stay 3 nights. This is applicable year round.
Accommodation
Cote d’Or Footprints has 10 chalets in two types namely
- one bedroom chalets with separate lounge, kitchen and veranda (number: 8; size 71m²)
- two bedroom chalets with separate lounge, kitchen, veranda and two ensuite bathrooms (number: 2; size 115m²)
All Rooms have air-conditioning in the bedroom, bathroom with shower/w.c, ceiling fan, fully-equipped kitchen, iron/ironing board (on request), safe , telephone, television, verandah.
The complex has WiFi-internet access.
Restaurant
Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering guests. On arrival there is a starter pack with tea, coffee, milk, fruit, crackers or biscuits, water). On request a BBQ grill will be provided.
If you prefer to eat outside the complex can arrange your breakfast and/or dinner (payable direct to the hotel). Dinner will be served at either “Pirogue, “Le Dauphin” (Le Duc de Praslin) and L’Archipel Hotel. Transfers for dinner are provided to / from the restaurants. Clients are to settle their beverages or any other extras directly with the restaurant.
In the Cote d’Or area there are more restaurants and hotels in close proximity to the chalets.
Activities
Cote d’Or Footprints has its own salt water pool with loungers and an outdoor shower. If you prefer the sea you can rent a kayak (at cost) at the reception.
Praslin has a lot of activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, nature explorations, fishing, surfing, biking, canoeing and more and more.
But Praslin has also a lot of places you can’t miss like Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beach in the world or the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO heritage with the famous Coco de Mer plant.
And what about a trip to one of the neighbouring islands like La Digue or Curieuse.
It’s all up to you as it’s your holidays.
